We are kicking off 2023 with the exciting news of a new project in Switzerland, after a very busy 2022 that saw S+B receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade (after receiving the same award in 2016) for our work on exporting the high quality of British standards into the international markets.
We are extremely proud to be working with Aiglon College, one of the world’s most distinctive boarding schools, on designing, manufacturing and installing their six new science laboratories and two preparation rooms.
Liam Serridge, the S+B’s International Sales Manager, visited the site in 2021, after the College contacted us following a recommendation from an industry colleague.
Spending time with each individual teacher gave Liam a great insight into the specific requirements of the project, allowing him to design learning spaces that are not only exciting and inspiring, but also fit for purpose.
Furthermore, S+B organised visits for Andy Croft, the College’s Director of Operations, into schools around the London area, to our completed lab installations , in order to see similar learning spaces that positively impact learning.
The 2D designs and 3D renderings produced by S+B UK, together with a detailed specification, ensured that Aiglon College had a clear vision of the final outcome before they committed to S+B.
Their choice of the laboratory furniture includes a combination of Spacestation, Saturn & Mercury, STEMline with Corian and Trespa worktops, Spacesaver storage walls, Fixed Ecoline and recirculatory Mobiline fume cupboards.
