The project team for the new Human Biology Building at Galway University have chosen the S+B Utiliaire laboratory benching system with Trespa Toplab Plus worktops.
The project also includes Ecoline fume cupboards with auto sash closing mechanisms. The architects are Scott Tallon and Walker and the main contractors are BAM Ireland. Tenders were invited for the laboratory furniture and fume cupboard supply and installation package from several leading European suppliers and S+B was eventually chosen following a rigorous selection process which involved visits by the project team to completed installations and the S+B offices, factory and showroom in Manchester.
The project is due for completion in August 2106.
