S+B UK are proud to announce our latest project for the Vietnamese education sector. This exciting project involves modern laboratory furniture for Dwight School Hanoi, contributing to the school’s mission to bring international educational excellence to Hanoi.
Dwight School Hanoi: A Global Education Hub
Dwight School Hanoi is the newest addition to the prestigious Dwight Schools network of International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools. With campuses spanning New York, London, Seoul, Shanghai, and Dubai, Dwight Schools have a rich history dating back to 1872. Founded by members of the Sachs family (of Goldman Sachs), Dwight was the first school in the Americas to offer the comprehensive IB continuum curriculum from preschool to grade 12.
Campus Overview
The Hanoi campus, set to open its doors in August 2024, will provide an exceptional learning environment with advanced facilities. It will be situated on a sprawling 35,000 m² campus within The Manor Central Park, a remarkable residential development in central Hanoi, built by Bitexco, one of the leading multidisciplinary economic groups in Vietnam. The campus was designed by the Carlos Zapata Studio in New York, known for its work on the Bitexco Financial Tower—one of 25 symbolic towers in the world—and JW Marriott Hotel. The campus promotes inspiration, collaboration, and innovation for both students and faculty.
Innovative MYP Science Labs
A highlight of the Dwight School Hanoi campus is the Middle Years Programme (MYP) science labs, designed to cater to both theoretical and practical learning. These labs will support various science disciplines and learning activities, promoting collaborative and individual learning experiences.
S+B UK, in collaboration with Tam Minh Technology JSC, our partner in Vietnam, will manufacture and install the laboratory furniture and fume cupboards that will play a crucial role in shaping the learning environment within two science labs and one Prep Room.
The furniture includes innovative student workstations such as the SpaceStation and Saturn, designed to transform the lab space into a multipurpose hub for collaboration. Additionally, movable student tables will provide flexibility in configuring the layout, facilitating a dynamic and adaptive learning environment.
We are excited to take part in this project and look forward to seeing the future students of the Hanoi Campus joining Dwight’s extensive historical list of notable global alumni.
