St. Leo the Great is a Catholic school located in Lincroft, New Jersey, that combines faith with academic excellence for students from Pre-K through 8th grade. With a strong emphasis on STEAM education, the school aims to inspire students to think critically and solve real-world problems.
Recognised as a National Blue Ribbon School in both 2012 and 2018, St. Leo’s is dedicated to preparing students for a rapidly changing future. Their commitment to sustainability was further acknowledged when they became a Green Ribbon School in 2019, the first Catholic school in New Jersey to earn this honour.
To support their forward-thinking vision, St. Leo’s has transformed its educational spaces through the “Classrooms of Tomorrow” campaign. This initiative includes a state-of-the-art STEAM wing featuring a newly renovated science laboratory, fitted with futuristic furniture designed to foster hands-on learning, collaboration, and independent thought.
The SpaceStation student workstations, designed and manufactured by S+B UK and installed by S+B USA, encourage collaborative group work during projects, while students can also easily rotate to face the teacher for class instruction and demonstrations, keeping the classroom dynamic and engaging.
The lab also includes a custom curved teaching desk, tall storage units, and perimeter benching with integrated casework, creating a practical yet inspiring space for learning.
The new learning environment reflects St. Leo’s fun yet challenging STEAM curriculum, providing an interactive space where students can explore STEAM subjects through hands-on activities, offering grade-appropriate stimulation.
