KIS International School Reignwood Park’s new campus occupies a sprawling 60-acre site in one of Bangkok’s most sought-after areas. As the only day and boarding IB school in the city, it combines academic excellence with a strong commitment to global citizenship, sustainability, and innovation.
Designed by the renowned Rosan Bosch Studio and Atelier Aitken, the campus includes eight academic buildings spanning more than 145,000 square metres, alongside five buildings in the Boarding Village and staff accommodation. This impressive space offers exceptional learning environments for more than 2,000 students from around the world, including two buildings dedicated to the Arts and Sciences.
S+B were involved in the project from the early stages, helping to design 19 specialist spaces, including the Discovery/Makerspace, Biology and Environmental labs, Physics and Chemistry labs, Robotics labs, and Cooking studios.
Working closely with KIS, we provided guidance on optimising layouts, room assignments, and essential facilities like prep rooms and storage. Our team ensured that each lab was designed to the specific needs of the subject, recommending best practices for layouts and equipment to support the school’s progressive curriculum.
The stunning lab spaces at KIS International School are designed to inspire. Spacious, light-filled rooms with large windows bring the outdoors inside, creating a welcoming environment for hands-on learning and creative exploration.
The furniture in these labs combines style with function. Workstations such as the SpaceStation, Saturn and bespoke lab benches were chosen for their sleek design and durability, providing ample space for students to collaborate, experiment, and delve deeper into their subjects.
Thoughtfully designed teacher desks and storage solutions, such as the SpaceSaver Working Wall, maximise the functionality of the space, while mobile and ducted fume cupboards, like the Ecoline and Mobiline, ensure safety and versatility. Every design element was chosen to promote collaboration and spark creativity.
The cooking studios at KIS International School are as visually striking. Featuring bespoke cooking stations and the innovative Propeller design, these studios go beyond culinary training. Students not only learn cooking techniques but also engage in sustainable practices by growing ingredients in the school’s garden. This hands-on approach integrates eco-conscious learning, teaching students the importance of sustainability alongside essential culinary skills.
These facilities offer the perfect setting for both academic and practical learning, supporting KIS International School’s commitment to providing outstanding, forward-thinking educational spaces.
The school lab furniture and fume cupboards were designed and manufactured in our UK facilities and installed by Charleston Scientific, S+B’s partner in Thailand.
