The English College in Prague is a selective six-year English grammar school and also a member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS).

The S+B designer visited the school in 2011 and in consultation with the Head of Science put together a design for the refurbishment of their Physics lab incorporating Saturn System workbenches with Corian worktops and moulded turrets, two Ecoline fixed fume cupboards and a SpaceSaver storage wall.

In 2012 S+B returned to Prague for a further installation of science furniture to Junior and Senior Biology Labs and two preparation rooms. They opted again for the Saturn System and Ecoline ducted fume hoods with an additional Mercury science workstation and also Wing furniture system.

The same laboratory furniture types were installed in 2013 when the school had two other Physics labs renovated.

We approached S+B as a potential furniture supplier for our new Chemistry laboratory at the beginning of May 2011. It quickly became obvious that S+B understood exactly what we needed from the lab, and knew how to overcome the logistical and practical challenges present in creating a lab to be fitted in a different country.
