Brighton College Vietnam is a brand-new, purpose-built international school, part of the Brighton College family. The Vietnam campus is the latest addition to a growing family of international Brighton College schools in the UAE, Singapore, and Thailand. It was established through a partnership with the conglomerate Vingroup, which runs 39 campuses in Vietnam, educating around 36,000 students. Its university, VinUni, has trained approximately 500 students from 11 countries.
The school will follow the British curriculum and is committed to delivering a world-class education. Its brand-new, purpose-built campus was designed to support its mission. The new facilities consist of two buildings: the Prep School and the Senior School, featuring awe-inspiring learning spaces, including science labs.
S+B UK manufactured the furniture for four science labs, two preparation rooms, and two digital innovation laboratories in our factory in Manchester, UK. The furniture was installed by S+B’s agent in Vietnam, Tam Minh. The expert team had previously installed the laboratory furniture for Vin University three years ago.
The goal was to create functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet Brighton College UK‘s standards.
The school labs furnished by S+B UK are characterized by their striking colour palette and functionality. They feature straight-line benching with Fundermax black worktops, black front doors, panels, and fuchsia stools, creating a visually impactful, minimalist aesthetic. The science lab benches are fitted with under-bench cupboards and trays for organized storage. Sink lids seamlessly integrate into the worktop, offering additional usable worksurface when needed.
The colour scheme chosen for the laboratories aligns with Brighton College UK, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand identity. The school labs are highly functional, providing ample working and circulation space for students and teachers. They also benefit from our Mobiline re-circulatory fume cupboard for safe hands-on experiments.
The sophisticated-looking university-standard laboratories will deliver the school’s award-winning STEM programmes and prepare the students for their future careers.
