The Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association (SEFA) was organized in 1988 to meet the needs of an important industry of lab designers and manufacturers of laboratory furniture.
SEFA's members work closely with laboratory owners, architects, contractors and others to advance the goal of creating a safe “Laboratory Grade” environment.
SEFA takes a leadership role in advancing the cause of good laboratory planning.
SEFA members work together to establish, monitor and modify as needed, industry-wide recommended practices in the areas of fume hoods, laboratory work surfaces, furniture installations, casework and fixtures.

FOBISIA is a regional federation of the leading British international schools in Asia.
FOBISIA offers a range of events, the FOBISIA Games is the best known benefit of FOBISIA membership for schools. British Schools in the Middle East (BSME)
The British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) is one of the largest organisations for British Curriculum schools in the World, with 97 Member Schools educating over 95,000 children in 13 countries and employing over 6,900 teachers.
Formed in 1982, British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) provides a quality-assured network of schools helping Heads and Teachers share best practice and keep abreast of the latest educational developments. BSME runs its own Accreditation System, Annual Headteachers’ Conferences, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme of over 100 courses per year and a range of inter school sports, music, arts and other events.

The Central & Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA) was founded as a result of the growth of American and International Schools in Central and Eastern Europe. In many cases, the schools were geographically isolated from each other and from the main stream of American and International Education.
